Supporting the Preservation of British Columbia’s Natural Heritage
At Evolution Fulfillment, we are deeply committed to supporting initiatives that preserve and protect British Columbia’s incredible natural spaces. Since 2020, we have proudly partnered with the BC Parks Foundation, donating warehousing services to support their direct-to-consumer business and marketing initiatives. We are thrilled to play a role in keeping BC green and safeguarding our precious parklands for future generations.
BC Parks 30 by 30 Initiative Gala Fundraiser
On November 27th, Evolution’s management and ownership team, represented by Evolution’s Administrative Operations Manager Britt, and her partner, attended the 30 by 30 Initiative Gala Fundraiser at the elegant Vancouver Club. The evening was a celebration of BC’s breathtaking natural beauty and the collective efforts needed to protect it. As a 3PL partner, we are proud to support BC businesses, charities, and initiatives, contributing to the growth of our province’s vibrant small business economy. By providing reliable logistics services, we help local organizations thrive and make a meaningful impact in our communities.
Key Highlights and Speakers
The event featured powerful speeches from key leaders and advocates who underscored the importance of preserving 30% of BC’s land by 2030 through collaboration with First Nations communities and private donations.
- Former Premier Gordon Campbell delivered a moving speech emphasizing the necessity of political support for the 30 by 30 goal. He highlighted his role in the Great Bear Rainforest Protection Plan and praised the BC government’s pledge of $200 million toward this initiative, aligning with the global movement for conservation.
- Lieutenant Governor Janet Austin spoke passionately about reconciliation efforts with First Nations communities, highlighting shared values and goals for protecting BC’s natural heritage for generations to come.
- Ross Beaty, BC Parks Board Chairman, presented a compelling video and speech on the 30 by 30 initiative and the successes of the earlier 25 by 25 initiative. He shared a personal story about a project to restore water to an endangered wetland habitat in Pitt Meadows by ingeniously diverting water from the Fraser River through tunnels under roadways.
An Evening of Recognition and Connection
The night celebrated the remarkable landscapes of BC and the importance of protecting them from endangerment. It was a pleasure to meet members of the BC Parks Foundation Board and Community Projects Team and learn more about their ongoing efforts and future plans.
We were honored to receive recognition for our continued support in fulfilling merchandise orders and Parks Pass sales through the BC Parks Foundation website. A heartwarming moment of the evening was reconnecting with Tamara Little from Coast Communications, who had received PPE from Evolution during the pandemic. Michael and Tamara fondly reminisced about hand-unloading a truck of PPE for a North Vancouver location—just one of many examples of community spirit and teamwork.
A Toast to Conservation and Community
The gala was a reminder of why we do what we do: supporting local initiatives for conservation, fostering community, and protecting BC’s natural treasures. The delicious hors d’oeuvres and open bar were a delightful bonus to an inspiring evening!
Thank you, BC Parks Foundation, for your ongoing efforts. We are proud to stand with you in keeping BC green and vibrant for Wherever You Wander, and we are excited that we get to play a role in keeping BC green and in keeping our precious parkland protected for future generations.
